Our Responsibility
Education
A child's future ought not to be determined by circumstance. We believe this without qualification, and we act on it without condition. For every member of our team who wishes it, the education of their children is funded by Arnav. We also work to extend this belief outward, contributing to the building and funding of government schools in communities where access to education is most fragile. What we build in gold, we also try to build in opportunity.
A Craft, A Living, A Future
Some of our most meaningful work happens quietly, away from the boutique and the workbench. We partner with foundations that work with women rebuilding their lives after experiences of profound hardship and exploitation. Through this partnership, these women are taught the handicraft skill of making sustainable bags: a craft that is entirely their own to keep. The bags they make are purchased by Arnav Jewellery and used by us. It is a small act with a deliberate purpose: to ensure that a skill, once learned, becomes a livelihood, and that a livelihood, once established, becomes the beginning of something entirely new.
We do not believe in charity as a gesture. We believe in participation, in being genuinely and practically present in the lives of people who deserve more than they have been given.
This is what responsibility means to us.
