Maahi Pearl and Emerald Jhumkas

Handcrafted jewellery is made to be worn and treasured. Its small variations add to its beauty and uniqueness, and a little care keeps it that way.

• The bell is a hollow, pierced dome, so store the earrings where it will not be pressed or dented.
• The pearl fringe hangs on fine wire loops and can tangle, so lay the earrings flat when putting them away.
• Pearls are soft and absorbent: keep them away from perfume, lotions and water, and never use chemical cleaners.
• Emeralds have natural inclusions: avoid knocks, sudden heat, and ultrasonic or steam cleaning.
• Rose-cut diamonds are hard but can chip with a sharp knock.
• Put it on after perfume, hairspray and make-up, and take it off first at the end of the day.
• Remove it before bathing, swimming, exercise and sleep.
• After wearing, wipe it gently with a soft, dry cloth.
• Store it on its own, in its box or a soft pouch.
• Have the settings checked by Arnav once a year.
